New PSA: Amazon’s RED Shopathon

December 1 was World AIDS Day and (RED) teamed up with Amazon to launch the third annual (RED) Shopathon. Every purchase made from this special curated collection of red products helps fight AIDS in Africa. And for every dollar spent during the Shopathon, Bank of America will donate $.30 to the Global Fight to End AIDS (up to $1.5 million). But rather than having us explain it all, (RED) created a hilarious star-studded PSA to break down all the details. Watch Bono, Julia Roberts, Kumail Nanjiani, Chrissy Teigen and Olivia Wilde help answer curious customers’ questions about the Shopathon in the video below. When one woman asks if (RED) products will interfere with her medications, Roberts nicely explains that, “(RED) products are safe to use in conjunction with your current medication.” (The questions just get weirder from there.) How Do You See Me? [World Down Syndrome Day]

Saatchi & Saatchi New York launched a spot for Italy’s national organization for people with down syndrome, CoorDown, ahead of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, 2016. The beautiful and touching short film/ad, directed by Reed Morano, opens with narration from a young woman with down syndrome saying “This is how I see myself,” as actress Olivia Wilde looks in the mirror.

Working with CoorDown is always exciting for us,” said Saatchi & Saatchi New York global creative director Luca Lorenzini. “This year we’re thrilled to work with world-class artists including director Reed Morano and actress Olivia Wilde, as their magic touch will help make this message even stronger and louder.
